Fairness Doctrine In America
Life is not fair. We as a nation are not fair. It is not fair that I was not born into a wealthy family. It is not fair I had to buy my first car and it was not a brand new car. It is not fair that I knew kids that had better clothes then me. It is not fair that some people seem to be smarter then me. I study the same as someone else, yet they retain information better then I do. Not Fair. I work two jobs to keep my mortgage paid, heat and water running, food on my table, gas in my car, and other commodities that I have. Not Fair. It is not fair that other people do not have to work to keep shelter over their heads, heat and water running, food upon their table, gas in their car and other commodities that they have and it comes out of my paycheck.
What is fair is that someone succeeds and continues to succeed because other people are willing to purchase a product they like. How is it not fair then that a radio host can talk freely, which is a given right, and make a profit? How come someone who is uninteresting has to have the same fair amount of time to air their concerns if no one is willing to listen? Then to be truly fair I need a radio block to voice my concerns as well. To be truly fair every American should have their own station and be able to say what they like every day for no more but up to three hours a day.
Fairness only works to the ones who feel beaten. Its not fair I cannot hit a ball like Tiger Woods, so he cannot play better then me or I am given X amount of Strokes to his game. Better yet, it is not fair he gets paid to play golf and I have to pay to play golf. Lets change this rule as well. It is not fair that people make obscene money for what people are willing to pay and I have to work two jobs to make my little amount of money.
News is not fair. They only show me what they believe is news. What is news then? Is news fair if it reports only criminal activities? What if I want to hear what is going GOOD in America?
If we do come to this ridiculous Fairness Doctrine my question is who decides what is Fair? Is it someone who sits in a powerful seat? Is it someone who has no moral compass? Is it someone who has only peace works mentality? Is it someone who uses zealous rhetoric? There is no FAIR because we are all DIFFERENT and have different points of views.
What is fair is we are all given a chance to succeed and fail on our own accord.
